Limonit (Lancier/Weltadel)

Limonit was born in 1999 and was purchased from the Celle State Stud, starting stud duties in NZ in 2006.He was imported by Shelley Williams and Chris, Pam and Annie Wills – with the ownership transferring to just the Wills Family shortly afterwards. He did make competition appearances with Sandra Stanford in 2014 and 2014 at Small Tour Level then again in 2017 at Nationals and Horse of the Year show at Small Tour level with Vay Snyman.

He lived for the past 9 years happily to this day in the dutiful care of our President Renai Hart.

He has left a legacy – and his studbook mare daughters will carry on his strong lineage. There are 51 registered progeny – of which 14 are in the Main Hanoverian Studbook. Of note –

Henton Lucille (Anamour) with two progeny by Hyperion – that have done very well in both eventing and showjumping. Those being Henton High Class 2* (exported to China recently) and Henton High Class 1* along with Henton Solicitor General (Satisfaction) jumping 120 in show jumping. B. Henton Lodge Hanoverians
