It is with much sadness that we share this news from Verden.
President Renai Hart and I caught up with him in Verden last year at the Herwart von de Decken Show – and despite having a broken foot and managing his large frame on crutches, he was still the larger-than-life character whom we experienced on his FOUR studbook tour trips to NZ in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009.
