The Hannoveranner Jahrbuch Hengst or, in English, the Yearbook of Hanoverian stallions, was first brought out in 1999 as an indispensable tool to help breeders in finding the best stallions for their mares. It has been published annually since then.
Appropriate nutrition of the broodmare during all phases of gestation helps ensure the birth of healthy foals. New research has indicated a need to boost nutrient intake of broodmares during mid-gestation.
