Outstanding News – NZL wins Zone 8 FEI Dressage World Challenge with the NZL section held at the National Equestrian Centre in Taupo in November 2022 and  the team is also 2nd in the World Rankings from 37 countries that took part.

The FEI World Dressage Challenge is an International Development Competition supported and organised globally by the FEI. The aim of this Competition is to give the less experienced Dressage riders the opportunity to compete internationally without having to leave their own country.

Congratulations to owners and riders of the Hanoverians and Rheinlanders who were also selected to represent NZL in the Livamol World Dressage Challenge and who rode with much pride and determination (followed closely by the Bates National Dressage Championships at the same venue in Taupo).

It is of special note to acknowledge the remarkable achievement of Stacey McCoy (Hartshorne) and her boutique breeding programme from the 2000’s to have three HPH horses accepted for the WDC.

Matthews Hanoverians has two acceptances in Santana MH (Santino/Anamour) with Cindy Wiffin and Georgia MH (Gymnastik Star/Riverdance) with Casey Burton

The remaining Hanoverians were Anuschka PSH (Anamour/Gaius xx) with Kathryn Correy B. Nicolette Rendle, HSP Soe Imp. (Sporcken/De Niro) with Henrike Puketapu B. Virginia Urbath GER.
