Limonit gained the highest dressage score at his Performance test in 2002, and was placed third overall out of 50 stallions.
He attained GP Level dressage in New Zealand – first with Andrea Bank and later with Sandra Stanford.
His first New Zealand foals, born in 2006, are firmly stamped with his superb colour and type. His son Lexington (out of a Karensky xx mare) won the Young Event Horse of the year as a 5 year old. Another son Stoneylea Lancelot (out of an Anamour mare) won the New Zealand Amateur Level 4 Dressage championship in 2016 and is now competing at Level 8. Letty Lei (out of a Mantaari xx mare competing confidently at GP level.
Leibling and Leandro (from the same Anamour mare- Winter Abelia, Libretto (from an imported San Remo mare) and Layla Dawn (Anamour mare Andiana) are working through the dressage grades.
Diamond Legacy and Diamond Legend are both successful Show Hunter horses from the TB mare, Miss Meagan by Rua Rakuna.
He has several Studbook broodmares – including the Elite Studbook mare Limited Edition (Exchange Bay xx mare).
Limonit brings to New Zealand the valuable bloodlines of Lauries Crusador xx and Weltmeyer.
