For the very first time we have the possibility to present colts for licensing in Australasia. Two young colts and a GP jumping stallion were put forward this year and both were licensed to go forward to the Stallion Sport Test to try to achieve their lifetime license. This is for one year at a time….. THE LICENSES ARE CURRENTLY SUBJECT TO VETERINARY APPROVAL OF THEIR VET REPORTS BY THE VERBAND VETERINARY TEAM
SWE Dempsey (Damsey FRH/Sir Donnerhall) B. Sangster Ward Equestrian. Owner Astek Stud. He is licensed for the Rheinland Studbook.
Eurosport Kalaska (Kalaska de Semilly/Centadel). Owner Eurosport Horses. He is licensed for the Hanoverian Studbook.
Also presented – and eligible to do so through his performance in GP show jumping is
Bravado Ego Z (Balougran Z/Carthago Z) B. Linda Mayer. AUS. Owner Jasmine Sketchley, Felixstowe Lodge, Whangarei. He is licensed for the Rheinland Studbook.
For now the license is subject to Verband Veterinary approval of their submitted reports. This should be verified in the near future.
Congratulations to the owners for excellent presentations of the stallions. Congratulations also to Demspey’s breeders – Helen Sangster and Janelle Sangster Ward- who are long standing Hanoverian Society members. This is a remarkable result – a first for New Zealand.
