Bred in Queensland by Cheryl O’Brien at the famed Remi Stud and imported into New Zealand as a two-year-old colt by Baldeep Dhillon. He was presented for licensing in January after only 2 months under saddle for the Studbook tour headed by the British Hanoverian Society’s Katy Holder-Vale, herself a stallion breeder and owner. The test rider found him to have huge potential, he was sensitive but very responsive. The canter and walk felt easy and supple.

Secret DSP is top of the Top lists in Hannover for both Dressage (based on Breeding values mare performance test/action Dressage for Stallions with a breeding value of at least 120 points in Dressage. and the Young Horse Classes success (based on Breeding values German Equestrian Federation YHC Dressage and for Stallions with a breeding value of at least 120 points).

Remi State Secret will be available to a limited book of mares this season. The mares must be eligible for inclusion in either the Hanoverian or Rheinland studbooks. He is based in Palmerston North.
