INTERNATIONAL UPDATE: Clifton Signature (prev. “Stoneylea Ellesar”)

Clifton Signature; originally named “Stoneylea Ellesar“, bred by John and Angela Smith (Stoneylea Farm), is now owned by Frances Stead of Clifton Eventers.Clifton Signature has made a mark at Hapbury 2* International HT (UK) this week, ridden by our top NZ rider, Jock Paget.

The handsome chestnut gelding, by Espri out of a Happy Melody xx mare (“Madame La Rouge” xx), was leading after dressage and Cross Country, but had a rail in the SJ. However, he still achieved a podium finish of 3rd place in a tough field!
