Two Hanoverian horses won two of the titles at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. Privately owned stallion Franziskus (breeder: Elisabeth Albers, Löningen) convinced in the division of four-year-old stallions. State premium mare Corona won the gold medal with the event horses.

The Fidertanz/Alabaster-son Franziskus became the convincing champion of four-year-old stallions. The dark-brown youngster, presented by Johanna Klippert, did not only win the qualifier with outstanding scores, he also convinced in the Final in the test rider competition and celebrated the victory lap as superior champion. Premium stallion Quasar de Charry by Quaterback/Wolkentanz (breeder: Erika Lütjen, Grasberg) completed the Hanoverian success.

Ridden by Susan Pape, he won bronze after he had already been honoured with the Weltmeyer-Prize at the
beginning of the year. Dance in Black by Don Frederico/Lauries Crusador xx (breeder: Adolf Bachmann, Ahrensberg) and Ann-Christin Wienkamp were delighted to win the bronze medal in the division of four-year-old mares and geldings.

The five-year-old Hanoverian event horses dominated the DOKR cross country course. Sandra Auffahrt won the
Bundeschampionat only four weeks after having won the Olympic team title and the bronze medal in the individual test in London. She finished with the highest overall score after dressage, show jumping and cross country test in the saddle of the Contendro/Garibaldi II-daughter Corona (breeder: Diedrich Meyer, Köhlen). She only purchased the talented state premium mare at the November Auction in Verden last year. Valentine by Valentino/Varus (breeder: Martina Paulus, Tespe) and Nadine Marzahl became vice champion. The King Kolibri/Really Fabulous xx-son Kalle (breeder: Birgit Diekmann, Apenburg-Winterfeld) and Sara Algotsson-Ostholt won silver in the division of six-yearold event horses.

Two five-year-old Hanoverian dressage horses came in third: Bobcat and Don Darius scored the same number of points. Bobcat by Breitling W/Silvano (breeder: Hans-Heinrich Oltmann, Borstel) who found new owners at the Stallion Sales in 2009, was ridden by the Norwegian Isabel Bache. Mike Habermann from the team of the Celle National State Stud rode the Don Frederico/Markus Deak xx-son Don Darius (breeder: Klaus Quast, Hamburg).
